Basilica
Entry is free of charge. The Basilica is open every day from 07:00 to 18:30.

Museum
The museum of the Basilica is open every day from 09.00 to 17.30.

Cloister
The cloister is open every day from 09.00 to 17.00.
Baptistery
The Baptistery is open daily from 09.00 to 19.00.
To visit, individually or in a group, it is not necessary to book. Those who wish can take advantage of the audio-guided visit on the website battisterolaterano.it, by scanning the QR Code at the Baptistery entrance.
Lateran Palace
The Lateran Palace is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Sundays and during religious holidays.

Vicariate of Rome
The Vicariate observes the following hours:
Monday, Thursday and Friday from 07.45 to 13.45
Tuesday and Wednesday from 07.45 to 13.15 and from 14.00 to 17.30.
Excavations
The visits to the excavations last one hour, and are possible from Monday to Saturday (in accordance with the Vatican calendar).
Type of visit: group (max 20 people)
Languages available: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish

Accessibility
The Basilica of Saint John Lateran has access for the disabled. There are currently two ramps in the main square, three platforms in the main portico including the Holy Door, and one platform inside the Basilica to facilitate access to the transept.
